Episode Synopsis
Send us a text My guest today is Diane Uwacu, originally from Rwanda, and now studying in the USA. She's a Ph.D. student in computer science at A&M University. In this episode, we learn that she had she gained a scholarship to study in the US for her tertiary education. There she met great teachers who were well invested in her success who noticed that she was good at algorithms. Currently, she's a Ph.D. student specializing in computational biology and machine learning algorithms. Her research is in designing motion planning algorithms applied in computational biology and robotics. She tells us about this research and talks us through a typical day in the lab.
