Louis Moore is an associate professor of history at Grand Valley State University, where he teaches African American history, sports history and gender history. He graduated with a B.A. from California State University, Sacramento in 2001, an M.A. from the University of California, Davis in 2005, and a Ph.D. From the University of California, Davis in 2008.
