This week we sat down with Dr. Lauri Wright, PhD, RDN, LD, FAND, 2023-2024 President of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is currently an associate professor and the director of nutrition programs at the University of South Florida College of Public Health. In this episode, we learn more about Wright's background and what led her to her current role as president. We discuss how RD2BE's can get involved within AND, the benefits of advocacy within the profession, as well as how we as students can make the future bright for dietetics!
