Lisa Brumm started My Financial Girlfriend after banging her head on the conference room table in disgust in Sales meetings over treating people like pre-judged targets. She believes the male-dominated, dysfunctional financial industry needs a DRASTIC change that's built in equality, education & a "people over product" mindset. 
She believes money and conversations about money can be insanely approachable, hopeful and even fun, when discussed with girlfriends. With that in mind, Lisa has created training programs for financial planners and advisors to become "financial girlfriends" and has developed online financial literacy classes for the rest of us. 
My Financial Girlfriends' mission is to empower and educate income-producing Americans in all things finance: money, investments, insurance, retirement, tax strategies, you name it.
