Send us a textIn this episode, we get the opportunity to hear from the one and only, Dick Fain from KJR (https://www.iheart.com/live/sports-radio-kjr-2565/), the play-by-play announcer for the Seattle Storm (https://storm.wnba.com/), and a sports reporter for King 5 Sports.  Please note that Dick and I recorded our conversation during the Halloween timeframe so please pardon the time gap in some of the content we share.The home-grown, Mount Rainier Ram, turned KJR Radio personality, shares his experience as the announcer of the WNBA Seattle Storm and also discusses life as a parent managing quite the hectic schedule.  He talks to us about the many roles he’s held over his career, which at times had him going on the air at 5 am or by staying until midnight.  He discusses the challenges that come with this line of work as a parent and how he does it all with the support of his wife.  As you'll hear in this episode, Dick is just like all of us dads trying to do our best to support our families.    We talk about the stresses that can push our buttons as dads and the importance of being self-aware and working hard to control our own emotions - which I am sure most dads can relate to.  Additionally, we talk about how much has changed for kids in today’s sports and all of the demands that are put on kids in today’s society.  How much is too much?  How much is not enough for our children?Dick talks about the pressures that society can put on families and the challenges of trying to keep up with what everyone else is doing.  What is right?
