Water baptism is an essential part of the Christian life. It is the initial rite that indicates one has decided to follow Christ. Think about your baptism as we study.
John was called to baptize. But his baptism was temporary. He had a profound purpose as he came in the anointing of the prophet Elijah. We will see how his role was to point to someone who would come after him.
