Episode Synopsis
The Astros wrapped up a 11 game homestand Sunday with an 8-3 win against the New York Mets. The Astros took three of four from the Colorado Rockies, two of three from the Philadelphia Phillies, and two of four from the Mets.Roy Oswalt, on his way to San Francisco for the All-Star Game on Tuesday, closed the homestand with a brilliant outing. Oswalt gave up three runs on seven hits, gave up one walk striking out five. Leading the way offensively for the Astros was Chris Burke going 2-4 with a home run, two RBI, and three runs scored. Hunter Pence continues his bid for National League Rookie of the Year with a 2-5 day with a double and a triple. Also driving in runs were Lance Berkman, Eric Bruntlett, Morgan Ensberg, and Carlos Lee.The club is off for the All-Star break and then travels to Chicago, Washington, and Pittsburgh before returning back to Minute Maid Park on July 23rd.
