Leaving Ecuador as only child, Franciso Alex Lasso faced a lot of discouragment as a young adult in Virginia having to work odd jobs to make ends meet given his undocumented status. Once the DACA Program was enacted, he saw a glimse of opportunity to pursue an education but was left in debt after an error with Financial Aid.
