Troy Cross is Professor of Philosophy and Humanities at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, where he specializes in contemporary metaphysics and epistemology. He has formerly taught at Oxford University and Yale University. Cross is also a long-time bitcoiner, and has been thinking about bitcoin's environmental impact and energy profile since 2011.
