This is the very question that starts the whole letter of 1 Corinthians and reveals the tempo of the rest of this letter as the Apostle Paul sets forth to correct all the false teachings which have infiltrated this church through the divisions that have crept in! This letter is going to serve us today as a clarion call to pay attention to those core, and fundamental truths that we have received and to recognize those teachings that have, as Jude said, "Crept in unaware."
