Listen "Episode 6: Jumping Out of your Safety Net and Chasing your Passion with Anissa Blair"
Episode Synopsis
Today, I have the amazing Anissa Blair joining me on the show. She is a native of North Carolina. Her love for books and writing was cultivated at a young age. As an only child, her imagination became her best friend, and in difficult times it was her confidant.
She started writing poems that later progressed to short stories. In 2000, she wrote and copyrighted her first novel, Your Husband My Man, and began to submit her work to publishers. After being turned down more times than she cared to count, Anissa put the book away and went on with living her life.
By 2018, realizing that something was missing, she returned to her passion and re-visited her novel. In 2019, choosing to have faith in God, she jumped without a safety net and quit her job as an Executive Assistant with a Fortune 500 company and self-published her novel where it has received 4.5 stars on Amazon.
In this episode, Anissa will share some bits of her books. Also, she will give us nuggets of wisdom to help us thrive in our spaces, teach the power of manifestation, and give a special message to all the ladies.
If you need something that will make you jump out of your safety net and follow your passion, this episode is for you.
