Episode Synopsis
Send us a textIn this episode, I break down my visit to several filming locations in England. Enjoy!Topics:Lacock! The town of Lacock is a small and very old settlement home to many pubs, B&Bs, and more! Lacock also plays host to the Potter house. The filming location, anyway. The house used to portray Harry's birth place was the highlight of my visit to Lacock. The Lacock Abby is another filming location.Oxford! Oxford University is one of the oldest universities in the world, and all that history was put to good use in the Harry Potter films! Not only was it used as inspiration for Hogwarts in the books, but it also gave the film makers ideas and provided a perfect filming location! The restricted section of the library in Hogwarts is in Oxford! And Draco's time as a ferret was also spent in Oxford. And finally, The Harry Potter Studio Tour in Leavesden, South East England. I could spend days talking about this place, as it holds countless original sets, costumes, props, and effects. If you have only a day in London, the Harry Potter Studio Tour is a must!Much More!Having anything you want to hear or say? Click here for a voice submission or here for text. [email protected]
