Jesus heals a LeperMatthew 8:1-4“When he came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. 2 And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” 3 And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately, his leprosy was cleansed. 4 And Jesus said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to them.”Points of the Passage:1.      Jesus was followed by the crowds.2.      Jesus was responsive to a right mindset.3.      Jesus was mindful of the law of Moses.  What does this have to do with us?1.      We can see the similarities between the salvation of Christ and the religious cleansing ritual of leprosy. 2.      When you ask God for something, be in the right mindset.3.      When God answers your prayer, publicly give Him glory for doing so.4.      After God saves you, He has expectations of you.
