Joining the podcast for the final time for the 2024 season is VFL Head Coach Jackson Kornberg. We discuss the areas we were able to improve throughout season 2024, including key metrics tracked by the football department, the organic growth of individual players culminating in 3x players earning VFL Team of the year selection. We analyse the list management and the strong retention we have been able to have with 24 players currently retained for next season and the selective nature of our recruiting. Lastly, we touch on the emotion of the VFL, what it means to the players, but also what it means to the wider community, we saw an outpouring of emotion from many of the teams, players and supporters across the finals series.
