On today’s podcast I speak with Mexican documentary photographer Greta Rico. Greta was kind enough to invite me into her home in Mexico City while I was visiting to interview her about her journey with photography. Greta’s work focuses on gender and human rights issues and her work has been published by The New York Times, The Washington Post , and The Guardian to name a few. Her project titled "Substitute Mother" was one of the 2023 Leica Women Foto project Awardees and her work has been exhibited in galleries around the world. It was a real pleasure to speak with Greta as her work is both beautiful but also extremely important and impactful to creating change in the world.
