In this workshop we'll talk about assertive parenting and when to say yes and no. Many parents confuse the act of being an assertive parent with aggression. There isn’t anything wrong or aggressive about clear, direct, and honest communication when done appropriately. That's why it is important to know when you're being too agressive in saying "No" and too lenient in saying "YES".
Assertiveness is an essential skill that can significantly reduce the amount of conflict in your home. In this workshop, we will be discussing what Assertive Parenting is and when to say YES and NO.

RECE, Parenting Practitioner, Family Mediator and Child Voice Practitioner Rose Morsh is the founder of InventiveMinds Child, Youth and Family Support Centre a not-for-profit organization, which is licensed under the Ministry of Education and OAFM (In process).

While teaching students to master an instrument, Adam incorporates his unique methods to encourage early childhood development and improve communication, stress management, relationships and family dynamics. Through his professional development training and assessment, he helps adolescents, teens and young adults with growth and development planning and goal setting. Through his one-on-one and family seminars, he guides participants in developing skills and strategies useful in the various scenarios and challenges life can bring with a positive outlook.
