Listen "104. The Summer I Turned 60"
Episode Synopsis
As summer comes to an end, I've given myself a homework assignment to reflect on the summer I turned 60. When I was younger, I loved summer, but this year, I was dreading it. I faced a quieter summer, as my grown children were an ocean away, and many of my friends were travelling. But I was determined to make the most of the summer by embracing change and seeking joy in my life, regardless of the number on my birthday cake. So, I committed to learning new skills and picking up new hobbies: golf and Mahjong. Join me in this episode as I discuss the challenges and joy of golf and mahjong, how they became addictive, and how, alongside the best birthday surprise I could ever ask for, I had one of the best summers I can remember.
