When Devolution, the way in which each UK nation is allowed to govern itself, was first introduced in the late 1990’s, it was hoped it would help quell the growing independence movements in the four nations. Almost 25 years on, the rapid rise of Plaid Cymru and the SNP seem to suggest it hasn’t had much success. Has Devolution worked, or has it been a disaster?
