Welcome back to The Operating list! Today our specialty is Anaesthetics and joining us we have Dr Darren Wolfers. Dr Wolfers is the Deputy Director of Anaesthesia at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. He has extensive experience in humanitarian work, particularly in Papua New Guinea practicing Cardiac Anaesthesia. In addition, Darren has spent 15 years in CareFlight helicopters practising retrieval medicine around the globe. This week we will chat to Darren about what anaesthesiologists wish surgical inclined medical students would be aware of, as well as about his humanitarian work and experiences in retrieval medicine.
