In this episode we look at how the Apostle's Creed makes the point to emphasize that Jesus died a real, bodily death such as all people face because of our sins.  We reflect on what Jesus accomplished on the Cross as a sacrifice for sin (showing the depth of the love of God for his fallen creation, satisfying the justice of God on our behalf and breaking the power of sin, Satan, and death).  Then we look at our response to the gospel: accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour by grace through faith and then allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us within the life of the Church through reading scripture and receiving the sacraments, through worship and prayer, and through fellowship with God’s people and loving witness to the world.Connect with Us!www.opengatechurch.caFacebook: @theopengatechurchInstagram: @theopengatechurch
