Listen "The Offside Rule 2015/16 Episode 30"
Episode Synopsis
Mina Rzouki rejoins Kait Borsay and Lynsey Hooper for episode 30 of The Offside Rule (We Get It!), brought to you by Continental Tyres. Rotherham manager Neil Warnock has signed Paddy Kenny for an amazing fifth time - but he's not the only manager to have favourites. We look at other managers who just can't live without certain players - including serial offender Harry Redknapp! As the season continues, a few clubs are finding themselves deeper in trouble; Newcastle United are in crisis with six losses in seven games and speculation around Steve McClaren's future, while Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce said he was going to cry into his wine after his side conceded a late Southampton equaliser. Kait and Lynsey pick out relegation certs from the Premier League, while Mina focuses on the doomed sides across Europe. Finally, in a late ode to Mother's Day, we're going to give some footballing mums some well-deserved praise - including a mum who's dedicated a lot of wall space to her son, and mums who went to great lengths to help their children succeed in the beautiful game.
