Growing up in a musical family AlexZico learned to play piano and synthesizers at an early age. He started his DJIng at local parties as a teenager when Acid was in the house and has not stopped since. Being interested in various music styles, he also turned his attention to alternative rock bands and independent artists. After airing and spinning records from other artists for over 20 years now, AlexZico finally got into creating his own sounds.

Being part of the constantly evolving Duesseldorf/Cologne (Rhine-Area) music scene with its best known artists and electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk and current acts like Kurd Maverick, Bush II Bush and Plastik Funk, AlexZico combines pumping house beats with minimalistic and techno flavors to create a unique sound, that keeps the feet moving and the crowds dancing.
Working together with Tech House legends like Mike S and Mixmaster Brisk and uprising stars like Vito & Danito for more than five years, AlexZico developed his pumping groovy style with a little latin flavor resulting from influences like Junior Jack, Masters at Work and Ian Pooley. The sound is aimed at people that like to have a good time not only beachside but as well in the clubs.

AlexZico's Podcast "Summer Of House" has been running for almost 10 years now and the number of followers is constantly increasing. Starting as a simple mix of melodic and groovy house tunes for his closest friends, the podcast has now evolved to a highly successful mix of recent releases mixed to perfection and great feedback from all over the world.
