Episode Synopsis "Planning for Retirement 101"
Welcome to The Nichols Podcast! On this episode Alston talks about planning for retirement. One major way Alston says you can plan for retirement is by saving as much money as you can while you're working and using that money to make investments in stocks for example so you can make more money and build more wealth, so when you retire you won't have to get another job if you don't want too. You can do this a few different ways one way is through investing in your 401k while your working and another way is by funding your IRA by doing this you can help cut the amount you pay in taxes every year. Alston also discusses the important of going from a renter to a homeowner and how that is ultimately a good decision to make and how having a good credit score helps you get a lower interest rate. Lastly, please share this information with your family and friends. If you have any questions feel free to email Alston at [email protected]. Hope you enjoy this episode!
