Trump wants to bring manufacturing back to the States by charging other countries more to send us stuff to sell, but here's the problem with U.S. tariffs- If Nike makes a shoe in Indonesia, the cost of manufacturing, shipping, AND a big tariff added on still makes it about 80% cheaper than manufacturing it in the US. Is Nike going to take a hit on the profit of those shoes when a tariff is added? Hell no, they're just going to pass the cost onto the consumer. So, if you were wondering who pays for tariffs?
