In the wake of UFC president Dana White slapping his wife in public, many are asking whether women should be held more accountable for their actions.  While the answer is difficult to say, there are a few things we can learn from this incident. First, it's important to remember that domestic violence is never okay. Second, it's important to remember that violence against women is a problem that requires systemic change. And finally, it's important to start talking about this issue – both in personal and public spaces – to start raising awareness and starting to make progress.
