Welcome to The Morning News Podcast for Thursday, March 19th.
We begin with a look at the devastating effect COVID-19 has had on Europe – which includes 475 deaths in Italy, in a 24 hour period.
Global’s Europe Correspondent, Redmond Shannon with the latest.
Next we head to the Calgary International Airport to get an update on how one of the busiest airports in Canada is handling the Coronavirus outbreak – we chat with the Airport’s Manager of External Communications and Media Relations – Reid Feist.
And finally - we look at the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Games. While the IOC says the games will go on, Olympian Hayley Wickenheiser has that’s not the right move at this time.
