When a mother prays…

It is for you to stay safe and sound,

For your health to abound.

She prays for you to find peace;

And for your soulful troubles cease.

She asks the Lord; Master of us all,

To ease your suffering and hear her call;

That cheerfulness you might find.

And she adds, Dear Lord if there’s time

To give you children you should raise

Then she’ll sing a song of praise.

But most of all, truth be given;

She prays wholeheartedly that you be forgiven.

Because of sin we might depart,

And live eternally apart.

So she whispers prayers each passing day

That you find Jesus along your way.

So, with love this Mother’s Day

We say thank you when mothers pray.
