Listen "Eloise Moore: What Is Alcohol Worth To You? "
Episode Synopsis
On today’s episode, Eloise Moore shares her experience getting sober at 18. She talks about how alcohol took herself away from her, how normalized blacking out has become, her moment of surrender, and talks in-depth about the misunderstandings that surround being sober. “Other people’s perception of normalcy can’t control my life at the end of the day… No matter what anyone else thought about me, no one else was living my life, and if alcohol was making me as miserable as it was, there were no benefits to not staying sober just to please others or out of fear.” References: Gerber, W.
