Inspired by a piece from the The Book About Getting Older by Dr Lucy Pollock, Dr Alice Holt, Dr Sarah Kelt, Dr Eleanor Cross and Ian Tyrrell explore how to approach having difficult conversations in regards to Respect documents and resuscitation. They explore how prepared they felt when first approaching these conversations and how they become easier after time. They also discuss the emotional burden that these conversations can have and the importance of self-care and good teamwork.
