This terminal is one of Chicago’s key intermodal hubs, linking the Windy City, to the Pacific Northwest by rail every day, long double-stack trains roll in from Seattle and Tacoma, carrying containers from major steamship lines – think Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, COSCO, Ocean Network Express (ONE), Evergreen and more. These big-name ocean carriers rely on Cicero to whisk their cargo inland after it arrives at West Coast ports.
