Denying ourselves can be a hard thing because if some of us are honest, we like what we like and we want what we want. And some of us like it our way. But when following Christ, you put down what you want and what you’ve always thought was best and you pick up what God thinks is best and you leave whatever you fall behind in the dust. It’s important as followers of Christ that we follow him in his word and what he tells us to do and everything. Because if we don’t do that, then we’re not really following him anyway.Now someone might have a comment and say well we don’t do people like that. Well, you’re right we don’t. We don’t always follow what people say or we don’t always mimic what our pastor does necessarily in routine and etc.But people, our pastor and whoever else is not God. We And them should be doing everything that God says, because ultimately he’s the leader. And yes, he does give us people to help us, but as we go to those people who help us, let’s remember who they go to or who they should go to, which is Jesus Christ. It’s important. We are all lead by Jesus so we can help others in the way that they need help and reach them. Also so that we can lead if that’s what we do in our position whether it’s at work or etc. in the right way. So let’s do and lead as Jesus would want us to.
