In this episode, I interview a younger Soldier just starting her time as a Non-Commissioned Officer, Sergeant Brittany White. SGT White enlisted when she was 17 and still in high school under the Split Option Program. She is currently a full-time college student at Washburn University. SGT White and I talk about using service in the Army National Guard to pay for postsecondary education, being a female in the military, and how her service has made her stronger physical, mentally, and emotionally.
