In this week’s podcast episode Charlotte and Paula will be talking about competition, what is competition, how you can define it and what to do with your competitors.
What is competition?
Traditionally in the landscaping industry, competitors are anyone local to you. However they may offer different services or use different type of materials. There are lots of different ways to differentiate to who your competitors are. One of the things you can do is find out who you are quoting against. Another thing to look at is pricing.
There is a BIG difference between competitor analysis and comparing yourself. For example, worrying whether competitors will see what you’re doing and either copy or judge you. But try to remember, you are not running your business for them! Who cares if they try to copy you, they could not do it to your exacting standards.
