The fact that the Lord initiated the journey and knew ahead of time what was going to happen and also prayed to avert it, should encourage the faithful to be strong in their faith. Knowing that there are necessary storms we must pass through to become whom God wants us to be. His presence with a man on the journey though may not guarantee a stress free voyage, it guarantees a safe landing.
