We are preparing teenagers for a world that no longer exists.
We don't want to tell teenagers what to think. We want to teach them how to think.
What made Stuart want to become a student of culture
I have no chance of impacting the next generation if I don't understand the culture of the next generation.
Why some people are resist to studying culture.
What communicates to a teenager that I take them seriously is that I understand their world. I can't expect them to understand my world.

Managing the tension between entertainment value and educational value.

"Tokenism is wanting faces of color, but not voices of color."
To become better learners is to become incessant askers of questions.
Reading is the cheapest form of education.
It's easier to be different than better. Better is being the unique person God created you to be.
Professional/maturity is you being responsible with the gifts God has given you, being proactive and effective while being supervised.
