Listen "Break the Bias: Getting serious about Gender (Equality) in Organizations - The Leadership Brief #9"
Episode Synopsis
Why International Women’s Day should not be about winning the battle of the sexes and why declaring women, the winners of the best Covid 19 response or calling women the better leaders, is unhelpful. Empathy, emotional intelligence, humility, or resilience are not leadership qualities that are solely attached to the female gender; but skills that can be developed by all leaders!
In this episode of the Leadership Brief, we welcome new Co-Host Stephanie Playford, Head of Diversity & Inclusion Advisory at Ward Howell International, who is discussing with Marita Haas different aspects about gender equality, bias in recruitment, and common gender myths. Marita is a Gender Consultant with a strong academic and scientific background. She is responsible for developing gender concepts, planning projects, and providing strategic advice to executive boards and management teams.
Happy International Women's Day!
