Former Sun Belt and WAC commissioner Karl Benson joins the show to discuss Texas State leaving the Sun Belt for the Pac-12 conference. Benson thinks this is a great move by Texas State to get into the conference. Benson also thinks that Texas State could pay off for the Pac-12 and calls Texas State a potential Boise State on the football field. Benson says that he is surprised that the Pac-12 went the route of getting Texas State in the conference after other options to join the conference went away. Benson thinks that Texas State is going to be a great recruiter in the state of Texas, and that will help them compete quickly in the Pac-12.
