Mikey 23 is a local organization that was started due to tragedy. Michael McKissic started the Mikey 23 foundation shortly after the death of his son Mikey. He was shot and killed and the perpetrators were never found. Sine 2015, the Mikey 23 Foundation has been helping our local youth learn about construction by empowering young people to give back by teaching them skilled trades.
