In the Old Testament, God gave Moses plans for a temple, which was to be a place of sacrifice and offering, and a place where people met God. However, Jesus sent His Spirit to live in us so that we can become the new portable temple; we are to offer our sacrifices of prayer, praise, love, and service so that people can meet God when they are in our presence.
