Thursday, June 29th 2023. Luke and Tim get the show going with another one of Tim’s rants. This time on the San Francisco 49ers and a predicted step back. There are always teams in the NFL that seem to have it together, then end up regressing. The first segment is finished up with Hits & Misses where the show goes over where they were right and wrong on previous takes. The second segment is kicked off with 3 rising, 3 falling where Luke and Tim give 6 NFL teams and put them into categories. Will they be better or worse than they were last season? Will they be able to make the playoffs, and who will fall out of contention? The second segment is closed out with the news where The Issue goes over the biggest stories in sports for this week. The third segment is ignited with a discussion on Baker Mayfield and his new team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is effectively his last shot at starting in the NFL, and what can we expect from Baker in Tampa. The show is closed out with a discussion on college baseball and the College World Series champions. Going over LSU’s historic season and their road in Omaha.
