Professional dunker and ex-Surrey United (now Surrey Scorchers) guard Joel “The Royal Guard” Henry checks in with Chuck to discuss his journey to becoming the most prolific dunker in British Basketball history.
Joel and Chuck discuss Joel’s early playing career, reminiscing about their time playing together at Hackney Community College Academy, through to his time in the BBL playing for Surrey United. They also discuss Joel’s experience playing in the 2014 Nike World Basketball Festival in Barcelona, where he played for NBA superstar Kyrie Irving against the opposing team coached by Anthony Davis. Joel discusses becoming a professional dunker, his experiences competing around the world and the business side of professional dunking.
