Have you heard of the idea to choose the thoughts you want to think? Well that is so true! But sometimes, we can't always see the thoughts in order to change them.
Tapping is a powerful tool that helps to calm the body and get into the subconscious thoughts and beliefs. Our thoughts are like an iceberg: majority of what we think is below the surface where we can't see them. What we do see is just the tip of the iceberg. EFT - tapping goes below the surface into the subconscious mind to clear out things that we may be thinking and to reprogram them into more productive and helpful ways of thinking about ourselves and the world around us.
No, it's not brainwashing.
Our subconscious controls majority of our emotions and feelings. By tuning into the doubts, worry, fears, and grievances that come up in our daily lives, we target the subconscious thought controlling that emotion.
