Listen "062 Jason and Steve - Future Proof"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode Steve and Jason discuss:What is future proof and temporal integration Our brains’ tendency whenever we’re going through a difficult time The impact of knowing that difficult times will end for people.Three tips for future proofing your life: Focus, Self-Care, and Community Key Takeaways: Remember the temporal nature of difficult events and circumstances. Things are going to change and it’s okay. Knowing that the “suck will end” has been proven to give people hope. Future proofing yourself starts with believing that there will be a future. Stay focused. Multitasking (or actually, “switch-tasking”) increases stress and decreases productivity. Practice Self-Care. It feels like a luxury, but it’s a necessity. Try to do community differently. Seek connection with people. “Never mistake education for transformation… we’re less interested in more people knowing stuff and more interested in more people doing stuff.” - Steve Scanlon Connect with Steve and Jason:LinkedIn: Jason or SteveWebsite: Rewire, Inc.: Transformed Thinking Email: [email protected] Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine TallaAudio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions.
