Listen "How getting curious, being present, and having friendships are foundational to A Life Worth Living"
Episode Synopsis
We're hearing a lot of commencement speeches right now. Highschoolers and young adults are being told to follow their dreams, and some are thinking..."what do I want to do or be? How can I know myself, or choose a vocation? What's next in this phase of life?" We’re joined today by our Vineyard Columbus counseling center director, Dr. David Hartman. David brings a breadth of academic and professional experiences to his work. He has masters degrees in sociology and clinical mental health counseling and a doctorate in counselor education as well as training in human-centered design and user experience design. Prior to becoming the director at Vineyard Counseling Center, he worked in social research, academia, and corporate training and development. His areas of curiosity and research interest have to do with identity, career, and life transitions."Dave has been a member of Vineyard Columbus for over 20 years!
