Listen "Social Justice in Clinical Practice"
Episode Synopsis
Our podcast hosts interviewed Dr. Crystal "Doc" Murdock on social justice in the counseling profession. Doc works for National Louis University, a board member for IMHCA, and a consistently active leader within the ICA organization. She provides thought provoking insight on changes counselors can make to become more self-aware, ways in which counselors should challenge themselves and others, and skills counselors can develop through training and practice. This episode will certainly motivate clinicians to remain intentional about providing a safe space for clients by striving to become culturally competent counselors.
