Today, we’re hanging out with one of my good friends and one of my favorite guys in the world of DIY hunting, Steve Sherk of Sherk’s Guide Service. Steve’s been a great friend to HuntBetter over the years, and he’s been so generous in the sharing of his wisdom and knowledge.One thing you’ll quickly learn about Steve, and really all the great successful hunters of our time, is that he’s always learning. He’s never thinking that he’s got it all figured out. He’s always trying to hone his edge and that equates to a ton of time in the woods, a ton of boot leather laid down, and honestly, just a ton of humility — especially when he’s already so successful chasing mature, big woods bucks. So if you take anything away from this podcast, I hope that it’s Steve’s willingness to continue learning and then to continue passing along what he’s learned so that other generations can benefit and grow into great woodsmen.
