Listen "08 – Meditation, Mindfulness and Finding Yourself with Natalie Thomas"
Episode Synopsis
Natalie Thomas, Yoga and Meditation Coach, was first introduced to mindfulness as an athlete by implementing visualization techniques to help her improve her performance. While the practice of mindfulness was valuable to her athletic career, Natalie didn’t apply the same concepts to her everyday life. After experiencing a severe case of burnout, Natalie introduced meditation and mindfulness into her daily routine. Natalie’s dedication to these practices allowed her to improve her mental well-being and reconnect with her inner self. Today, Natalie works with clients on both an individual and corporate level to reduce stress by establishing a presence of mindfulness in the workplace.
When it comes to healing, we tend to grab onto physical things that only bring temporary relief. According to Natalie, genuine healing is a lot more complicated than it appears. It requires you to let go of the physical world and tap into your soul to dig up parts of yourself that you shun or have made unacceptable. Although the process is often uncomfortable, Natalie explains that healing our past traumas increases our vibration and integrates the mind, body, and spirit.
