The pandemic has highlighted that speaking up has never been more important for the benefit of colleagues and patients. October was Speak Up Month, but also Black History Month, and this is a great opportunity for us to raise awareness of how much we value speaking up at NCH&C. In this episode, Mercy Kaggwa and Nijck Bowman talk about Freedom to Speak Up as a whole, but also how we can ensure voices from our staff from diverse backgrounds are heard.  For more information, NCH&C staff can search for Freedom to Speak Up on our Intranet.
