The resurrection is hard to believe, but without it, life is empty and purposeless. Jesus met Thomas in his doubts, gave him what he needed to believe, and transformed him into a bold witness. In the same way, Christ meets us in our doubts, shows us His scars, and calls us to believe so we might receive new life and purpose.
