Listen "Debunking the Myth of "We All Have the Same 24 Hours""

Episode Synopsis

We've been shamed into believing that it's ok to feel bad about how unproductive we are within a 24 Hour Period compared to our heroes and influencers - like the Elon Musk's, Jeff Bezos's and Oprah's of the world.  And I'm here to set the record straight and say that this premise and comparison is WRONG.

We have to compare apples to apples and comparing ourselves to the business moguls in the world by saying we both have the same 24 hours in a day and shaming ourselves for not being as productive as they are is NOT comparing apples to apples.  It's actually a form of self abuse.

In this podcast I use a couple examples and illustrations to make the point that not only do we not share the same 24 hours but we're hurting ourselves by even making the comparison.

In the end, I offer a simple 5-category framework that can help the avarage person get on track with making the most of their 24 Hours without the stress and shame that come from making ill comparisons of themselves to others.

Enjoy!
